Cookie Policy

Last updated 3 August 2026

This policy explains how Hacker Academy Ltd uses cookies and similar technologies on hackeracademy.uk. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

A cookie is a small text file placed on your device by a website. Similar technologies include browser storage, pixels, and other methods that store information on or read information from your device.

Our current use of cookies

The Hacker Academy website application does not currently set analytics, advertising, personalisation, or marketing cookies. We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or behavioural profiling technology on this website.

We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand anonymous, aggregated website traffic such as page views, referring websites, device types, and general location. Vercel Web Analytics does not use cookies and is not used to identify visitors or follow them across different websites.

Forms and assessment answers are held in the page while you use them and are submitted to our server when you choose to send them. The application does not use cookies, local storage, or session storage to retain those answers on your device.

Strictly necessary technology

Our hosting and network providers may use short-lived technical cookies or similar mechanisms where they are strictly necessary to deliver pages, distribute traffic, maintain availability, or protect the website from abuse. These technologies are not used by Hacker Academy for advertising or behavioural profiling.

Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent where they are essential to provide the online service you request. We still explain their purpose here for transparency.

Brevo booking calendar

The booking calendar on our Book a Call page is provided by Brevo as third-party embedded content. We do not load the calendar until you select "Allow and load calendar".

If you load the calendar, your browser connects directly to Brevo. Brevo may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser and device information, referring page, and interaction data. It may also set cookies or use similar browser storage under its own policies.

Consent to load the embedded calendar applies only to the current page visit. Hacker Academy does not store that choice in a cookie. You can alternatively contact us without loading the calendar by using our Contact page.

For information about Brevo's handling of data and cookies, review the Brevo Privacy Policy.

External websites

Our website links to external websites, including accreditation, booking, and social or supplier pages. Following an external link takes you to a service controlled by another organisation. That organisation may use cookies under its own policy. Hacker Academy does not control cookies placed after you leave our website.

Managing cookies

Most browsers let you view, delete, or block cookies and restrict third-party cookies. Blocking all cookies may affect some website functionality. Browser controls vary, so consult the help section for your browser or device.

  • Delete cookies already stored on your device.
  • Block all cookies or only third-party cookies.
  • Clear cookies when you close your browser.
  • Use private or incognito browsing where appropriate.

Future changes

If we introduce cookie-based analytics, advertising, personalisation, or other non-essential tracking technology, we will update this policy and provide an appropriate consent mechanism before those technologies are activated. We will also update the date shown at the top of this page.
